Detailed Description
In 1931, Ferdinand Porsche and Zündapp began developing the "car for everyone" (the car for everyone). For the first time, the name "Volkswagen" was used. Porsche preferred the flat air-cooled four-cylinder engine, but Zündapp used the water-cooled five-cylinder engine. In 1932, 3 prototypes were driven out. All these cars were destroyed during the war, the last one in 1945 during the bombing in Stuttgart.
In 1933, Adolf Hitler approved the drawings of Porsche's proposal for the People's Car (car for the people). This simple car could transport 2 adults and 3 children at a speed of 100 km/h. The Volkswagen was intended to be accessible to citizens.
The model from the year 1969 is made of sheet metal with surface treatment using powder paint.
