Airfix

The history of Airfix began in London in 1939. With the world on the brink of war, Hungarian refugee Nicholas Kove founded the first incarnation of Airfix, a company that at the time manufactured inflatable rubber toys. Airfix is the oldest British manufacturer of plastic model kits and has been producing kits for the mass market since 1952. Although you may know Airfix best for its legendary aircraft models, recent years have seen a journey of discovery and exploration into branching out into other products. This has also led to the creation of several snap-fit models, similar to the interlocking building blocks produced by various manufacturers. We offer the VW-specific kits here in our shop.
