Since the demand for affordable and versatile transport vehicles had skyrocketed in the early stages of the German economic miracle, Volkswagen began production of the so-called VW Type 2 in 1950. This all-rounder, now affectionately called the "VW Bulli" by its many fans, became the outstanding workhorse of the economic boom in 1950s Germany. Schuco is producing the VW T1b in 1:32 scale using die-cast zinc. As expected from Schuco models, a multitude of details have been precisely replicated and crafted with the highest precision.
