Carrera
In 1920, Josef Neuhierl began manufacturing tin toys in Fürth, Franconia. In 1963, Neuhierl’s son Hermann introduced the “Carrera Universal”, the first electrically powered Carrera racetrack on a 1:32 scale, which was very well received at the time. In 1967, “Carrera 124” was launched, a further system featuring larger-scale vehicles. The Stadlbauer Group, based in Salzburg, announced its acquisition by Quantum Capital Partners in mid-2019. The Salzburg-based group’s expertise lies in R&D, production and the global marketing of the Carrera brand.
